The Evil Dead Movie Series is the First Franchise to Introduce Me to Extreme Gore

  Credit to  Evil Dead Theory:Evil Dead (1981) is set in it’s own universe : r/EvilDead I was in shock the first time I watched The Evil Dead . I had seen so many gory horror films before I had begun to watch The Evil Dead franchise. I couldn't believe how violent this series was, and I fell in love with how creative and insane the kills were.  I really came to love splatterpunk gore, it can be entertaining if given to the right director, and as long as the gore is used to progress the story, I'm totally fine with crazy deaths.  Cause let's face it, throwing in crazy gore without a decent story can become pretty boring very quickly.  Luckily, The Evil Dead is a damn great franchise that never fails to surprise me.  Heck, the TV show is one hell of a ride.  In one of the best scenes in this franchise, there is a part where Ash, the main character, and his companions decide to visit a diner, but they are attacked by demons.  Literally every single character who isn't o

What the Hell is the Longlegs 2024 Horror Movie About?

I have seen a lot of horror movie trailers that have captured my interest without showing too much.

The Longlegs trailer is making me lose my mind, and has led me to one question:

What the hell is this movie about???

I love the terrifying atmosphere and the mystery surrounding the trailer. From what we have seen, here are some clues as to what the trailer has shown:

  • A family is involved somehow.
  • There are dead bodies.
  • An old lady is trying to describe what she saw.
  • Something pure evil is taking place in the town. 

My theory is that Longlegs is pertaining to some kind of creature. I think the old lady has seen something and is describing the creature to the main character, and her family will somehow get involved. Of course, I have a gut feeling I am way off with this theory. 

The anticipation I am feeling for this movie is insane. I want to know the truth!! I need to know the truth! What is happening in this movie? What is out there, hunting people in the town?

This trailer is amazing and well executed, I haven't been this excited for another horror movie since Late Night with the Devil! 

I can't wait to watch this movie, and I'll be sure to update my thoughts on the film once I watch it! There will probably be spoilers, but to be honest, I don't think I want to spoil the film for anyone. I might go over what horror elements made the film great, and I'm sure that you will want to be kept in the dark until you watch the movie for yourself!
