The Evil Dead Movie Series is the First Franchise to Introduce Me to Extreme Gore
Credit to Evil Dead Theory:Evil Dead (1981) is set in it’s own universe : r/EvilDead I was in shock the first time I watched The Evil Dead . I had seen so many gory horror films before I had begun to watch The Evil Dead franchise. I couldn't believe how violent this series was, and I fell in love with how creative and insane the kills were. I really came to love splatterpunk gore, it can be entertaining if given to the right director, and as long as the gore is used to progress the story, I'm totally fine with crazy deaths. Cause let's face it, throwing in crazy gore without a decent story can become pretty boring very quickly. Luckily, The Evil Dead is a damn great franchise that never fails to surprise me. Heck, the TV show is one hell of a ride. In one of the best scenes in this franchise, there is a part where Ash, the main character, and his companions decide to visit a diner, but they are attacked by demons.
