I'm Really Excited for Joseph Quinn as Emperor Geta in Gladiator 2

I know this really isn't horror related, but I have wanted to bring this topic up for a long time.  After watching Joseph Quinn perform in Stranger Things as Eddie, I instantly knew that this actor was going to become huge. So far, he has already made a name for himself in the horror genre, appearing in A Quiet Place: Day One, Stranger Things , and another film that will be directed by the author who wrote American Psycho! I'm so happy to see that Quinn is now going to play a villain in Gladiator 2. I have a gut feeling he is going to deliver one of the best villain performances so far this year. I can't wait to write about Emperor Geta later on, once we get more of a glimpse into his character. Something tells me that this crazy villain is going to be delightfully insane, almost as crazy as some of my favorite horror villains! A new trailer is going to be released on September 23rd, I can't wait to see more of his character! In my opinion, I thought the music choice

How to Write an Effective Body Horror Story

Body horror is one of my favorite horror genres. It’s a unique horror that can be scary and uncomfortable to watch! I tend to write a lot of stories that involve body horror, because I find this genre so fun to write!

From my own experience in college, there is one thing that you need to be aware when including body horror in your horror story!

The main goal is to make your audience feel disturbed while reading the story! Body horror is not supposed to be a wonderful thing.

You should include as much detail as possible, describing what the character is going through. The character should be in constant agony, realizing that something not human is now inside of your character’s body.

It’s supposed to be terrifying, knowing that something monstrous is taking over a character’s body in your story. I will never forget that story I read that involved body horror back in college.

It was absolutely disgusting, and I had to skip class to avoid talking about the story in class. I felt so sick, picturing the images in my head.

It was that bad.

Bugs were involved, and they were crawling all over the insides of men…I couldn’t do it.

That is how body horror should feel!

It has to feel like the worst thing you have ever read in your life!

And it should be a good story at the same time!

Thank you for reading!
